Traveling and Working do not mix

I do not know how people do it!

Work and travel in the same time!

When I travel somewhere I would love to get to see everything to do with that place, but how can you do that when you are supposed to work 8 hours a day (at least)?

And how are you supposed to do that when you have nothing but work on your mind?

I got to find another job, or a better way to time manage my time.

Or just to chillax….

I really need to relax.

Daily Prompt: Study Abroad

As many might have already read, today’s writing prompt was about the following simple question:

If you were asked to spend a year living in a different location, where would you choose and why?

For once I thought of following up and actually contributing and write something this time.

If I were asked to live in a different location somewhere other than Egypt or Kuwait (the place I have lived most of my life); I would definitely choose Singapore.

I got to travel to Singapore in the summer of 2010 and I stayed there for 5 days, and believe me, 5 days were enough for me to fall in love with it.

Singapore has everything I look for, a very well-organized, clean and modern place you can think of living in, with plenty of entertainment choices or if you were on the quiet side, plenty of space and culture to get that time of being by yourself.

What entertainment choices that comes in to my mind?(I’ll try to simplify it as possible)

  1. museums (all kinds you think of)
  2. scenery (everything is beautifully green)
  3. zoos (even a night safari)
  4. out door activities (like hiking)
  5. Art, music, theater and cultural activities (available all the time.)

Other than the incredible weather, that is all year round; imagine being able to wear tank tops and shorts all the time 😀

Oh and how could I forget the amazing geographical positioning? If you felt like it at any given time and with plenty of free weekends, within a few hours you could be in Malaysia by bus. Or via plane you would be in Thailand or Indonesia. 😉

Going to Singapore; and living there for a year is a choice I would take at the first chance.
